Why Robin Soriano Events

I moved to San Diego, and only knew one person.

I longed to be part of a group, to have friends of my own that I could call up to go grab a bite to eat, or go on a walk.

Through a recommendation, I joined a run club that met twice a week for social runs, and grabbed drinks after. Through this group, I found my people, made lifelong friends which has opened the door for so many more connections and opportunities.

Being a part of a community, whether that be professional or social, is important. Communities make you feel welcome, you are part of something greater, and that you are surrounded by people who show up for you and you for them.

When I was growing up, I was involved in the Girl Scout Community. One of our troop mottos was to leave a place better than you found it. Well, being in the events and hospitality industry for 10 years, and seeing how much waste there is, I am ready to take action, and start leaving it better than I found it.

My goal is to help you plan your event that builds a sense of connection, and belonging. Whether that be with your clients, or with your peers, all while supporting local, and reducing any negative impacts on the larger community.
